Max Aluminum Windows

Thermally broken aluminum windows for modern residential and commercial projects

Max aluminum windows are designed for projects that need a clean architectural look without giving up thermal performance, weather resistance, and daily usability. With slim sightlines, concealed hardware, and multiple opening options, this system adapts well to contemporary homes, multifamily developments, and commercial applications.

Built with thermally broken aluminum profiles and advanced sealing technology, Max windows help improve comfort, reduce heat transfer, and support long-term durability in demanding environments.

Why choose Max aluminum windows

A window system should do more than look good on elevation drawings. It also needs to perform once installed, especially in projects exposed to heat, wind, water, and constant use.

Max windows combine several functional advantages in one system:

Thermally broken aluminum framing to reduce heat transfer

Triple-seal gasket design for better protection against air and water infiltration

Multi-point locking for improved security and tighter closure

Concealed hardware for a cleaner exterior and interior appearance

Slim 2 5/8” sightline to maximize glass area and natural light

This combination makes the system a strong option for projects that need both design consistency and dependable field performance.

Installation options for different project conditions

Max aluminum windows are available in two frame configurations to suit different construction methods and opening conditions.

Glazing compatibility

Max windows are designed to accept 1” insulating glass units and can also be configured with annealed glass or impact-resistant glazing, depending on the project requirements.

This gives architects, builders, and specifiers more flexibility when balancing energy efficiency, safety, weather exposure, and overall system performance.

Tested for key performance standards

Max aluminum windows have been tested under recognized North American standards* for air leakage, water penetration, thermal performance, and structural load resistance.

Testing standards include:

Representative performance values include:

*Performance values may vary depending on window type, size, and glazing configuration.

  • U-Factor:

    0.37 Btu/hr·ft²·°F

  • Air leakage resistance

    ≤ 0.3 cfm/ft² @ 6.27 psf (300 Pa)

  • Water penetration:

    None @ DP15 – 360 Pa

  • Uniform load structural performance:

    ± DP15 – 2400 Pa

Ideal applications

Max aluminum windows are well suited for projects that need a more refined and higher-performing system than standard window packages typically offer.

They are a strong fit for:

Contemporary residential homes

Multifamily developments

Mixed-use buildings

Commercial façades

Projects with large glass areas and narrow sightline requirements

For teams looking for thermal efficiency, structural reliability, flexible glazing options, and a modern aluminum aesthetic, this system offers a practical solution across multiple project types.

Finishes and custom options

To fit a range of architectural styles, the system is available in:

  • Clear anodized
  • Bronze anodized
  • Custom painted finishes

Additional options include:

  • Custom grids
  • Custom screens

These choices make it easier to adapt the window package to both the technical and visual goals of the project.

Compare the right configuration for your project

Choosing the right window type depends on several factors, including opening size, ventilation goals, exposure conditions, and glazing requirements. Reviewing these details early in the design process can help avoid specification issues later and improve coordination between aesthetics, performance, and installation.

Available window types

The Max system is available in three main window types, allowing the same visual language to be maintained across different areas of a project.

Fixed Windows

Fixed windows are a strong choice when the goal is to maximize daylight, preserve views, and maintain a clean exterior appearance. Since they do not open, they are especially useful in large glazed areas where envelope performance is a priority.

Casement Windows

Casement windows are hinged on the side and open outward for wider ventilation. They are often used in bedrooms, living spaces, and commercial settings where airflow and operability matter as much as appearance.

Awning Windows

Awning windows open outward from the top, making them a practical option for ventilation while offering added protection in light rain. They work well in bathrooms, kitchens, offices, and other areas that benefit from controlled airflow.
